The One that Got Away
Rex Barnes and Ginger Cavanaugh both come from families with traditional values and deep roots. When these two meet during a time of transition, their friendship teaches them how their traditions and legacies can still be upheld even if they don’t follow in the exact footsteps laid out for them.
Rex is a city slicker from New York whose social elite status has allowed him to live an extravagant and somewhat carefree lifestyle. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family and is an avid sports fanatic. His destined path to become a high paid criminal lawyer is being paved for him such as his father and grandfather was before him.
The country bumpkin, Ginger, is from Nebraska where she was raised on her family farming operation. Upon the death of her older brother, Ginger’s homestead became dependent on her to move the business into the next generation. Her slightly wild spirit and determination make her someone her friends and family have come to count on through good times and bad. She enjoys writing anything and everything from song lyrics to in-depth research papers. She’d make one heck of a journalist if she was given the option to follow her dreams.
